Frequently Asked Questions
Where are you located?
Skintuition is located right off Highway 55 in Apex, NC, making it easy to find whether you’re coming from Cary, Holly Springs, or Durham. There’s plenty of free parking, so you won’t have to worry about rushing or circling around before your appointment.
Should I arrive without makeup?
If possible, please arrive without a full face of makeup so we can get started right away. That said, I completely understand that many clients come straight from work, so don’t worry if you’re wearing makeup. I’ll take care of cleansing your skin before your treatment.
What skincare products do you use?
I exclusively work with Botnia Skincare and LILFOX Botanicals, two lines known for their high-performing, holistic, plant-based formulations. These products are gentle, effective, and tailored to your skin’s unique needs.
Is a consultation included?
Yes! Every appointment begins with a personalized consultation so I can understand your skin concerns, lifestyle, and goals. This ensures your treatment and home care recommendations are completely customized to you.
Do you offer packages or memberships?
Yes, I currently offer treatment packages and seasonal promotions to help you stay consistent with your skincare and save on your favorite services. Be sure to check my current specials or ask at your appointment.
How should I prepare for my facial or body treatment?
Drink water before and after your service to help your skin detox and stay hydrated.
Avoid heavy exfoliation or harsh treatments 48 hours before your appointment.
Arrive with an open mind, facials are not just skincare, they’re also deeply restorative experiences for your body and mind.
How long will my appointment take?
Most facials are 75-90 minutes depending on the service booked. Please allow for an extra 10 minutes on each side of the treatment for both your consultation and check out. Your service is never rushed.
How often should I get a facial?
For best results, I recommend facials every 4-6 weeks. Consistency is key for maintaining healthy, balanced skin, especially if you’re working on acne, aging, or pigmentation concerns.
